Frozen

We seem to have our own version of
FROZEN
going on here.

Crystal Pendant

And I must admit...
 it is quite exquisite!

Winter is sooo much more
than just cold and snow.

Enchanted Branches

It's a FROZEN world
of beauty and enchantment.

But you've got to bundle up
to go find it.
~
Better hurry... it doesn't last long!

  1. Great photos. You caught exactly what this Winter has been all about. Everything frozen and white.

    1. Thank you, Cher. Sometimes it's hard to look past the cold to see the beauty of the season.

  2. It has lasted months here with one thaw....I could use another soon....I do love the beauty of winter but only for a couple of months....need to find the warm soil soon. Your frozen world is stunning.

    1. You've been hit pretty hard up there... Isn't it a grand plan to have "SEASONS"? As we grow tired of one, another is always waiting in the wings.

  5. What beautiful images, and I love your positive attitude toward the cold. So refreshing, and I now feel a bit guilty about griping about it and wishing for spring. Today I'll try to enjoy the frozen world. Thanks for opening my eyes to its beauty.

    1. Oh you are so welcome! I've found in a lifetime of living that it's always better to be positive... life is just better that way.

  8. Hello Carolyn girl !
Perfect ! .. you have caught the exact feeling of winter encasing us in it's grip ... BIG sigh !
But .. time is moving forward to our advantage towards Spring and I have even noticed the difference in longer light values in the afternoon .. yipeeeee ! haha
and I will think of all our snow as much needed ground water when it melts ... there, as much positivism as I can muster for now?LOL
    Joy ;-)
    Keep bundled up girl !

  9. Beautiful photographs my friend and I love the sentiment as well! It's true, it isn't around all that long and we in the snowy areas of the country are guilty of taking the beauty of winter for granted!

  10. Great photos, Carolyn! I love most leaves on the branches not the frozen drops. When does the spring come?

    1. Not for a while... our mountains are still thick with snow. In March, Winter begins to fade away and Spring tiptoes in, but usually there is a tug of war between the two for several weeks until Winter finally gives in.
