Two days of 70's!
Amazing what a little warm sunshine can do for the soul....
and for the trees!
but this morning...
North view from my Gardens |
we're back to Winter Whites.
But the emerging leaves don't seem to mind.
Hey! This Tulip wasn't red yesterday morning.
Ahhh... You gotta love SPRING in Utah.
Wow - you've got 2 extremes! lovely photos - particularly of the tulip in the snow. At least they are determined to bloom - snow or no snow. Hope warmer weather comes your way soon -
ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for so long for spring to finally arrive. Your pictures show why.
ReplyDeleteAnd then winter came back :(
Oh but it will be gone tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, beautiful photos, as always. Love the trees in bud and the contrast of the white and red. I could do with a lot less white right about now myself since we had a light snowfall here in WI too, but you're right, it 'should' be gone soon. We can hope, right?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos - I love snow! We don't get snow here so I love looking at your 'snowy garden' pics!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing isn't it that the sun is so powerful even when snow threatens.
ReplyDeleteOh that looks so pretty to have the bright colours alongside the white. I can see your smile from here!
ReplyDeleteSpring at last for you! Based on some of your previous posts, the snow will be gone soon enough!
ReplyDeleteThe weather is crazy. We had a good 10 inches of snow, and a lot of tree breakage because of it.
ReplyDeleteIt's always a bit of a shock to see the snow revisit, but I think of it as a "slow soak" to the greenery as it melts when it warms up again! :D
ReplyDeleteBTW - great new format on your blog; very, very nice!
Great photos. I especially love your title photo with the bee - what a fantastic shot.
ReplyDeleteWow! That red is vivid. Thanks for the bright photos. I have the same problem with winter dragging on. I like your blog.
ReplyDeleteI just read on a blog that once we get those first blooms, there should be some each day until next winter. Isn't that a cool thought? Hey, tulip, hang in there!
ReplyDeleteNice photography shadows are mischievous. Only to show their contrast with the real and both well captured.
