My Thinking Spot...deserted.
(Picture taken from the warmth of my office window so as not to compromise my body temperature... its so-o-o cold in my gardens in the morning.)
Notice there are no critter tracks... no birds, no deer, no foxes, no neighbor cats or dogs... no thinking going on here today. Too cold!

Great post! I just love your thinking spot, I do have a similar one and it is very deserted as well, hibernating under 10 inches of snow.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a great week, see you next Friday!

ReplyDeleteYour Thinking Spot looks beautiful and inspirational, but very very cold right now!
ReplyDeleteIt looks cold! And if it is anything like here so nice you could stay inside and take such a lovely picture of your thinking spot. Such a beautiful spot to think and enjoy the garden. Happy New Year to you!
ReplyDeleteI really envy your views. What a beautiful, peaceful scene today with the freshly fallen snow! I'm sure you enjoy changing views throughout the year from that vantage point.

ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend! / Irene
I bet your thinking spot spawns many of your wonderful posts. Even the 'deserted' one today.
ReplyDeleteWe also got 4 more inches of snow! It's been snowing every week since Christmas here! I'm tired of all this snow, and yes, it sure is cold.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr, that does look really cold! There is a heavy frost on the ground here, it is making me reluctant to head up to the allotment and dig, the frozen ground makes it hard to get the weeds out - that's my excuse anyway!
ReplyDeleteHugs - and stay warm!!
ReplyDeleteIt must be really cold if there aren't even any tracks in the snow! Your spot looks wonderful - I can just imagine you sitting there taking in the sights and sounds of your garden...looking forward to seeing posts about what you dream up!
ReplyDeleteBrrr. Looks like a pretty fab spot to enjoy a good book in summertime, though. :)
ReplyDeleteSomeday soon our gardens will awaken, and won't it be a happy time? I can hardly wait!
ReplyDeleteSo much snow! I sit between the roots of a dear old beech tree when i want to mull things over..
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, in spite of being deserted. It looks very peaceful . . .
ReplyDeleteAh, peace in the garden. Your garden and mine look very similar right about now.......COLD! Love your special spot, very peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI love to be the first outside and see the untouched snow. 0 degrees here in PA this morning!
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike - nothing like a pretty view framed by a window when it's ridiculously cold. Isn't it marvelous when you get that shot before the creatures leave their little prints. Stay warm.
