I never garden on Sunday.
It is my day of gratitude.
A single day among seven to rest from the labors of the week
and the cares of the world
A day to rejoice in God's many creations without lifting a shovel
A day to renew.
I feel of His presence
and in my quiet contemplation
receive sweet affirmation that He lives and loves his children deeply
of which I witness daily
as I observe the miracles that nature unfolds within my garden walls.
A day of reflection.
I honor Him this day-
this beautiful Sabbath day
on which I render thanks for all that I've have been blessed with
my life... my family
this beautiful garden from whence I learn of life and love and living.
A day of reverence.
I can't even imagine a week without such a day...
Enjoy our quiet, contemplative day. We all need to count our blessings.
ReplyDeleteThat is so beautiful. I too don't garden on a Sunday. Its always been like that in our family since my mum was little. Sundays are days to enjoy sitting in the garden and watching nature and enjoying what the Lord has made. :) Rosie
